- I am one of the founding members of KIX ALUMS (the WKIX ALUMNI ASSOCIATION). We were DJ's, news reporters, copy writers and other employees of WKIX Radio whose broadcasts in Raleigh, North Carolina during the 1960s and 1970s are still fondly remembered by many listeners and fans.

Someone told that one guy brought Larry Sprinkle to Big WAYS, Charlotte. . . . and that the same guy also brought Walter Knox (a/k/a Jack Kane) to town. . . was this a long-time mutual friend? If so, are the three of you still mutual friends?
